Most courses will utilize a custom billing platform designed specifically for that course. As such, students should sign up for hosting using the link provided by your instructor. This will ensure a one-time billing rather than a recurring payment. Individual course signup links are not posted on the Webtaculous website as they are kept private. After purchasing hosting, you will receive hosting credentials from your instructor prior to the beginning of your course or project and based on the timeline that your instructor provided.
WEB HOSTING PACKAGES
We offer two options below. Our current general hosting package will run for the duration of one course with dates specified by the instructor. During signup, you'll indicate the name of the course instructor that signed up with Webtaculous. We'll notify that individual of your purchase, setup your web hosting, and send the hosting credentials to them. Your instructor will be responsible for sending those credentials to you. They will have full access to your hosting account for support and oversight purposes. This sign-up method is intended for courses that don't utilize a custom portal. Check with your instructor before signing up here. The second option is for students that have already built a website during a course and want to maintain that specific site. This package utilizes recurring monthly billing to maintain the hosting account and cannot be used for a separate course.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
FOR INSTRUCTORS
Instructors can click the link below in order to sign up with Webtaculous. After clicking the link we will need to know details about your course such as expected number of students, course start date, course end date, course/hosting duration, etc. so we can create a custom package offering for your specific course or training. Prior to your course beginning you will submit a list of student names which will allow us to validate the payments made relative to your student list. After students have paid for hosting, we will create the hosting accounts and send you hosting credentials which you will then distribute to your students. This will give instructors the ability to know login credentials for student hosting accounts in order to offer support, make changes, change passwords, etc.
